Immigration law has become even more fluid and complex since President Kennedy first warned us of some of the modern U.S. immigration system’s earliest problems. Non-citizens seeking to apply for or maintain lawful status in the United States may be placing themselves at tremendous risk without first consulting an experienced immigration attorney to guide them through this highly technical process and advocate on their behalf through each step of the journey.
It is truly my honor and pleasure to assist and represent visitors, residents, and future Americans in their dealings with Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Executive Office of Immigration Review.
Residency & Naturalization
The long path to U.S. citizenship is not always easy, but we do not believe that it should have to be stressful. If you entrust me with this significant responsibility, we will work tirelessly to ensure that all filings submitted to Citizenship and Immigration Services on your behalf are professionally prepared and presented, and will be honored to have the opportunity to be among the first to formally welcome you to your new life in the United States.
Deportation & Removal Defense
Our nation’s immigration courts provide most non-citizens their final opportunities to raise any defenses that may be available against their deportation before they are separated from their friends and loved ones in the United States and returned to their home countries. If you have received a Notice to Appear placing you in removal proceedings before an Immigration Judge (”IJ”), we can help you to identify possible claims—including adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, asylum, termination of proceedings, or any other solution that may be appropriate to your situation—which you may have to secure your right to remain in the United States. If, after consultation, we believe that you qualify for any form of immigration relief, we will thoroughly prepare your case and zealously advocate for your interests before the IJ.
Whether you are a student planning to attend a Boston-area educational institution, a United States citizen hoping to arrange for your fiancé to join you prior to marriage, a talented artist who would like to add your gifts to our country’s rich cultural heritage, or any of the many other individuals qualified to apply for any form of status in the United States, we am ready to assist you through every step of the visa process.
